History of Mountain Credit Union:

The Mountain Credit Union gave us a corrective to our society Charter in September 2010, so that we could serve four additional respondents in North Carolina County – Cherokee, Clay, Graham, and Madison. On January 1, 2011, on the site located Candler in the former Enka Community Credit Union, the North Carolina Mountain merged into the Credit Union and became the seventh branch office of the North North Carolina Mountain Union of the United States.

May 2017 Mountain Credit Union eighth branch office is open in Murphy, North Carolina which is Cherokee County. Longtime members from Murphy Medical Center have been able to do business with us by mail and phone, now we have to do business with a local office!
